Well, I'm scheming up a few projects for my car and wanted to see how interested people would be in buying them when completed. I'm aiming for high-quality, low-cost parts that would be of interest to other SR20 owners.

What I have in the works is as follows:

Water Injection systemI'm aiming to be able to sell a full kit ready to be installed for approx. $200 shipped. This will be a full kit utilizing a high pressure pump, solenoid valve to prevent accidental flow of water to the nozzle, as well as an adjustable hobbs switch to allow spraying to be controlled by anywhere from 4-30 psi. of boost. Once I'm back home and have it built I'll put up a separate page with pictures, before/after intake temp results, and maybe even some dyno runs!!

Oil Filter relocation/Oil coolerTrying to kill two birds with one stone. As you may (or may not) know, the stock oil filter location on an SR20 sucks to change. I'm going to combine a relocation kit with the addition of an external oil cooler. Probably using braided lines and AN fittings, but maybe using high pressure press-lock fittings. It'll be expensive (probably $400 or so shipped), but it's well worth it considering the GReddy relocation kit is $100 or so, and the various oil coolers on the market (Blitz, etc.) are at least $600...overpriced what!!

Custom ROM TuningUtilizing an Australian sourced SR20 ECU daughterboard, I'm going to play around with custom ROM tunes. To begin with I'm going to get a simple version with changed rev & speed limits working. Then I'll proceed to work on compensating for different MAFS (Z32, etc.) as well as larger injectors and turbos. This is mainly for myself to tune (planning on Z32, 550's, and a Big28), but if I get it all working right I'll probably start selling them. I'm thinking of about $200 for a basic chip that removes the speed limiter and changes the rev limiter (if you want) and from there I'll charge a minimal amount ($50 or so?? maybe less??) to do a reburn of the chip with different programs (new MAF, injectors, etc.)

So, Let me know if you have any interest. Any ideas...prices too high, anything custom you want. I'm just trying to take some ideas of mine and make them available for a low price to other owners.

I'd like to see the daughterboard tuning become more accessible in America. From what I've read it's pretty popular over the pond.

I would be VERY interested in the water injection system and the oil filter relocation kit. Both prices seem competitive and I think If you post here and maybe establish a group buy at zilvia.net you can sell quite a few of these. I think interest in the ROM tuning may be a little lower just because it will take you some time to build a sufficent reputation before people start trusting you with something so vital to their engine's longevity and perfromance. The ROM price you stated are low though so you never know...email me if you plan on selling the water injection kit..VERY interested!-James

The kit can be used with which ever you want. The usual ratio people run is 1:2 alcohol:water.

Also jtt220, I know exactly what you mean about the ROM tuning. That is more of a side-project for me that may not even get done. The W/I and oil cooler will both get done ASAP though. Once I get home and have access to my car again i'm going to try and get a LOT of stuff done within a week or so (both of these projects, new wheels, install coilovers, alum. radiator, etc...) to get my car ready for road racing.

I am actually pretty interested in the oil cooler. Kinda already have something in the works, but am sort of interested in what you can provide.
