I put a DE Cluster in but i had to use the fuel gauge from the sohc cluster. nothing works in the cluster... the fuel is at the half way point even though i know that i'm almost outta fuel. my temperature gauge jus keeps going up everytime i turn the car on. when i start the engine the tach doesn't respond and i'm not sure if the speedometer works because i haven't installed my driveshaft or clutch line in yet and when i turn the light on theres no light in the cluster but if i turn it on then switch the key to the on postion, it flashes 5 times. i did connect the engine harness to the dash harness. but i have no idea why its not working :S

damn don't remember seeing any loose "ground" wires under the dash if there were even any :S. does anybody know where they would be located?but i do have a couple wires that are cut... don't know if they're part of the gauge cluster though.

this picture is the center of the dash i didn't touch anything there. http://www.facebook.com/photo....01103

this picture is the driver side. didn't touch anything here either and i jus connected the buttons and switches for the headlights and dimmer and hazard.http://www.facebook.com/photo....01103

heres a closer picture?http://www.facebook.com/photo....01103

oh yeah did i forget to mention that it was jus an 89 shell. those were the only wires left in there and i didn't touch anything. the shells been passed around so yeah

damn if the tach wire is the yellow wire with the red stripe(its the red wire thats visible in the picture) i see this connecter with it and i don't have anything on my engine harness to connect it to :Smaybe thats why my gauges don't work.

heres the engine harness connected to the dash though
