Hey I have some questions that might seem dumb but I've never been too interested in interior looks and stuff but:whats the difference between reverse indiglo gauges and multi color gauges? ....what's a better thing to do? get colored gauge bulbs or just get some indiglo gauges?

my 96 240sx gauge cluuster is completely stock (my interior is stock except for the CD player and speakers...which hardly deserves a mention) and I'm looking for something not flashy but clean and maybe a blueish light at night. I've use "search" and I searched on ebay and google and stuff and I found some kits for sale but I'm just looking for some personal reviews/recommendations

the indglo are white byday and glow green/bue at night but the multicolor ones only the numbers and what not light up different colors for differnt things redline is i red numbers blue or green, then dashes are a diff alot cooler lookin than just normal indiglo lights

the multi colored ones are white by day and blue or green (you can choose) by night... some brands even claim as much as 6 diff colors......

does any1 have the improtintelligence indiglo lights on a 96? do they look good?

The multicolors are just a ploy. Its usually a blue to green indiglo and since the switch can gradually change between the two colors, all the blue/green shades become a "color" all their own.

Go Speedracer, go! Forget multicolored/indiglo guages...I saw one today and it ruined the interior of the car. Definetly not for me,

Those are reverse indiglo, and actually halfway decent. I was talking about the all out Timex watch indiglo that those ricers like to put in their cars.

Aren't those indiglo gaudges really bright? Reverse looks ok because most of the face is blacked out, but with all the face lit up it seems like they would be too bright and a bit painful...Ouch my retinas!!*Uses dimmer*Ahh much better.

Hey Silvia post me a link to where you got those, and do they come in different face colors AND do they go past 120 (cuz I was planning on getting the 180 speedo...)EDIT: Those guages are for the SOHC, right? Do they make them for the DOHC S13?

i have reverse on my car and I love them... they look awesome at night.. =) I don't care what others think of them.. I like'em and that's all that counts...

most indiglos have a way to adjust the brightness

My indiglo's came with a brightness adjustment switch and a blue/green color adjustment switch that i just tucked in a crevice under the gauges. I dont plan to change them. The brightness will be an issue for a while, but u will get used to them. Now when i look at stock gauges, they look so dim and dull.
