gauges not working

Ok I did a led swap on my 90 240 gauge cluster. Now my gas gauge goes way up past full none of the other gauges work the clock is even out. Then when I put on the lights the gauge lights flash. It does this with the leds and the stock lights is this normal is there something that controls the gauges and lights. This is a analog and non HUD.

did you plug it up right?

yes and I even got a new cluster and cluster harness. All same thing on both.

u might have switched the 2 plugs that look the same on the cluster, try switching them around

I just looked and the way they are wired in a row there is only one way to hook them up the others will not reach. what controls the gauges?

just try switching them i thought mine were wired the right way until i finally tried switching the plugs months later and now my cluster works

problem fixed i had a bad connection
