Hi all new here. I picked up a G35 that was previously supercharged and now going back to stock with it and running into a few problems.

First and formost is I need to know do the gauges in a 06 g35 "sweep" when you key "on" because I am getting no movment atll save for the gas gauge and no backlighting at all either.

I am not sure what supercharger was on the car previously but is there any reson the gauge cluster would be affected?

Thanks.

hey bro, when it comes to supercharging i guess im the guy to talk to. You can call me if you like about all the issues you are having. my number is in my profile.

The gages do not 'sweep' like an old american muscle car. As long as the AT CHECK is done you are good to go. The cluster lights is probobly just a fuse too.

Hey I apreciate the offer I may take you up on that tomorrow if I get stumped.

Here is what I found out. The backlighting was a fuse missing like you said. I pulled the ecu to see if it had been stickered for tuning. It had not but that dosent mean it hasent.

I scanned for codes there are none.

The TB blade has a hole (for idle I assume) in it I put tape over it temporarily.

I have fuel pressure but no spark. I looked in the online download of the service manual trying to find the power transistor but didnt find a location.

If I can get it to fire I think it will run. Also I checked to make sure all cam sensors were pluged in.

Is there anything I should look for first as to why I have no spark?

Thanks in advance. And if you need any DSM or LSX info let me know I can tell ya perty much anything about them.

Do you have the supercharger? Most people want to add a SC...not go back to stock

I've been trying to convince my wife that the car "needs" a supercharger for years

...sigh, maybe someday.

Tell her you need a coolant system replacement and pass it under her radar.

When she feels the new thrust in her cushion tell her that is proof it was long over due.

Motohead welcome to NICO. I am a convert from DSM's as well. I do miss the easy 400+ hp DSM's can create. But I do love the torque and instant power. But DAMN was turbo lag worth the kick in the back side. Lately I have been in remorse of selling my 1G Talon TSi. All 425 awhp of it.

I used to have 2 dsms Down to one now. Its just too easy to make power caint give them up completly. As for Torque I have a C5 with H/C/I. I think the g35 is gonna neeed some twins.
