So I'm about to start my install this weekend, and I just notice the s13 that I got has next to nothing in the gauge department. I used to have a Z, and so I thought a boost gauge would be something standard in a turbocharged car. Anyway, any suggestions or insights on which was have a good fit and are effective and install---anything related would be appreciated. Thanx.

that would be a lot of money for gauges, i would say just go with autometer. Alot of people rip on them, but tons of people use them without any problems. Onyl bad stuff i have heard about there gauges is there fuel pressure gauge, and ther a/f gauge.

If you want a nice looking, functional gauge but don't want to pay big $$ then FAZE gauges just came out with an mid-entry level gauge that is really nice for the $$ the only problem is that there is no EGT yet. They are working on it currently however. Good luck ,joe

autometer gauges, do the job ok....but they are kinda budget....the boost gauges stop working after a year or so.....the a/f guages are ok....they are all 'ok'...and i use some...but i dont recomemnd things that are only 'ok'....ya know...yea, go autometer if your on a budget...but everyone knows they make gauges, so just by the fact he's asking for advice, i assume he doesnt want the autometers....and looking for something high quality....Yes there is a difference in the higher priced gauges and the lower priced autometers.....and a quality difference.

Since we're on the subject of guages and recommendations...

If you have EGT isn't A/F kind of redundant? If not, what does it tell you that you don't already know from the EGT?

Thanks....Martin.

I stick with the classic VDO, hasn;t broken down yet, they are just not as well known as Autometer
