Hello

My mom's Pathfinder has recently shown a problem during startup, where all the gauge needles fall below zero and starts to shutter. But they go back up to zero and start to work again after approx. 8 seconds.

This problem started to occur after my dad accidentaly left the lights on and killed the battery. Although I'm not sure if that is the cause of the problem.

Any speculations?

Thanks.

(I have a feeling the answer might be simple, please don't kill me )

i know high end cars get messed up after the car's battery dies so the pathfinder might be doing the same thing. it should still be underwarranty unless she put like 100K miles on it in a year. bring it in and get it diagnosed.
