gauge needle

is there a way to take the gauge needles out?and if it does, does it matter how i put it back on or do i have to put it at the exact location/spot where it was taken off ?i tried to wiggle out the gas needle and now i think it's sitting at the wrong spot or doesn't seem acurate after i wiggled it around.

ehh... you shouldnt really take that thing out.

I once had to take it out in a camry... I installed the gauge with out the plastic cover and when the engine was idling I put the needle so it was @ zero. This is for the speedometer... I dont know which gauge needle you are talking about...

If you just wiggle it around, it's no big deal, it'll get corrected when you plug the thing back in. If you pulled it off the cluster... ur in trouble.
