OK, i work on Helicopters for a living but this car has me stumped.

:wtf2:

I have been fixing up my 95 240SX SE for the past 6 months and i can not for the life of me figure this out. My gauge lighting is not working. i have been through most of the wiring to the best that i can because i have no wiring diagram, but nothing is working.

If someone knows something i don't or has a site that has the wiring diagrams on it that would be nice

(i have checked all the fuses and relays, and gone over most of the wiring under the dash)

Please help, its a prob cause i do a lot of night driving being in the army and such.

Im not sure if its the same with the s13 but the illumination wires are red/yellow and red/blue which is connected to the time control unit. and blue which is connected to the fuse. check the EL section here http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/240sx/1995

did you replace the radio in it??? ITs a wire behind the dash that must go to a hot. Check all the wires behind the radio.

Thank you for your help. i am going to look for that wire behind the radio. I just put in a new radio and i might have overlooked a wire, mistakes do happen. I will get back to you if that works.

On my s13 I had an issue like that but I kept popping fuses. I checked all the wires with a test light and one of my grounds was powered. I snipped it and grounded it straight to the chassis and bam! No more blown fuses. These were the wires directly to the cluster. Could have been fom the wiring to the automatic shifter when I switched to manual with my swap. Dunno though. ..
