Gauge light

My engine has bent valve's right now. But I tried to see if my gauge lights work, the red lights lit up but the RPM and Gas gauge etc. did not light up. What can be wrong with it?

dead bulbs... take it out and replace the bulbs, the dash takes regular 194 bulbs.

What's the easiest way to remove the gauge cluster? Because last time i tried i had to force the bezel out because of the stupid tilt handle. And i tore my dash in two places. -Mike

Okay, i took my gauge cluster out and replaced the bulbs from a base line model gauge cluster. I plugged everything back in but i still have no lights.
