gauge face wiring questions, i need help badly please!!!!

ok, so i have everything all set up, the faces are on, i have a good grounding and a the power i used the power from the oil temp. gauge right on the plug.

i have not spliced any wires but i the power i am currently using does not go off when the key is taken out so first question:

what wire is good to splice into for the power to the gauge faces that will turn off when i take the keys out?

and second:

i am having some problems with needles, the fuel needle is under empty so i think i can just move it up and fix that problem

the mph is zero is set at 10 so again i will move it down

the rpm gauge isnt moving at so i need an answer to fix this one

and the oil temp. seems to work fine

so please somebody help me out on this thing
