I'm looking into swapping the color of my cluster to Blue, but instead of destroying my good working cluster, I was thinking just buy one and swap them and the miles over.

So my question is whats the differences if any between the 2.5 vs 3.5s?
CVT vs 6 speeds? and my Traction control?

just wondering if I could get some answers before I spend $80 on something I cant use.

for some reason the miles dont swap. the miles stick with the cluster. Surman used to do it and when he would give someone a temp cluster, it would show different miles.

Yeah..Not sure if he still does it. I'm sure he would but the last I talked to him (in Carlisle P&S) he was super busy and now he has a girl/fiance so he's really busy...

Yeah I knew I would have to go to the dealer and swap my miles to the new one and fill out paperwork and probably have to pay to do it.

I'm just asking for the differences like the Tach, Speedo and the MPG stuff all that kind of stuff would still work and plug in correctly.
and found one with 71k which is pretty much what I have but its a 2.5 CVT for $80

*edit: Just realized I have over 10 post now so I can try to PM him.

Can't say for certain, but I can't see why they would be different. If any are different maybe a manual to cvt or vies versa, but I'd bet 4cyl/V6 are the same. If you're the original owner of the car I'd say spend the extra money on the cluster that has less miles than your car has and call it the day.

nope, surman doesn't do them anymore. after he parted out his coupe he stopped. i was fortunate enough to get my cluster done and all the other parts done in blue. :)
