Alright I got an 89 hardbody and it's acting crazy when I drive and hit a bump everything works the dash comes on the lights work and the heater works but if I turn it off and go to start it againg I have to drive it and hit some bump again for it to work any idea what could be the problem

Now I rev it hard and it comes on but when I turn it off and restart it I hve to rev it again and rev it and then it comes back on

Like a bad relay somewhere, or maybe you just don't have enough voltage. I can't say for sure because I don't know the system to a tee.

Yeah pull the dash apart and start tugging wires, bet money it will pop on and off, then isolate as you can.

First thing is check behind radio, have heard of this kind of crap when a aftermarket radio is not hooked up correctly. Especially if the ground has been messed with.

promise you it is the positive battery cable. There is a few wires there going to different parts but they get corroded easy i personally cut and replaced mine
