E-Bay seller is selling gauge cluster color change for the Altima Coupe.Sorry Surmann you're a cool dude and all but monopoly marketing aint cool!

In reality though people, before people start arguing, Surmanns quality and work is probably 10x better than this CHEAP alternative and this DOES REQUIRE soldering. Soldering isn't the hardest thing in the world, but anyone who does this should have someone skilled at soldering do the soldering for them. ATTEMPT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

It changed the ENTIRE color of the cluster so you can mix and match but for people that are having a tough holiday season financially that were looking to do this mod, here you go.

Hope this helps some people.

I am going to pick up a set!

Edit: Saw this has been mentioned now. Like I thought, you need experience. Thankfully, my friend is great at this stuff! I'll post pictures when they arrive and how they look.

Changed it. But with "cheap alternative" being said it was assumed. It's a cheap alternative, not a cluster. Selling a new cluster period is generally silly. Only thing you're paying for with a cluster is the plug n play capability. But for people who enjoy working on their cars themselves, this is probably more fun.

IMO your thinking is right usually in this respect, but for the gauge cluster, different story. the reason being that these are surface mounted led's which need to be unsoldered and resoldered. this is a difficult mod for someone who has a TON of experience, nevermind the casual modder. I hope your friend knows what he's doing, the last thing i'd want to break/screw up is my gauge cluster

Nlghtmare... IMO its best to leave the dash cluster alone unless you are willing to replace it and have it set to the correct odometer reading (will cost you several hundred bucks).

Just take the dashboard apart, and then see how each LED is the size of a grain of rice, with 4 contact points....

Hell if you had the talent to be able to do all this, the smallest issue is getting the actual LED's!
