Now that you mention it... I think I heard that too. Maybe it survived to 95? We're talking about the accent lighting that surrounds all of the gauges, right? I think it was described as light going throuh those paper Japanese room partitions in the early literature.qship96 wrote:I thought Infiniti dropped that lighted background effect after 1993?
No, I meant the surrounding areas around the gauges, it looked so cool at night. Now its just pure black and the gauges still look cool, just not as cool. I have a small photoreactive type thing (about the size of a quarter) on the passenger side dash right at the base of the windshield so I'm presuming thats what triggers the background lighting.qship96 wrote:Thats what I was talking about-wonder if he means the same, or the actual lighting of the gauges themselves via the incandescant bulbs? I thought for sure the electroluminescent background was only on the 90-93Q
...sounds like the flux capacitor! heheSynisterQ wrote:cool, just not as cool.
Oh, thanks for the intel.qship96 wrote:No, that would be the sunload sensor for the climate control system, as clearly outlined in owners manual and factory service manual.
