well on the way home from d!ck sporting goods my whole gauge cluster stopped working (rpm, mph, fuel, oil pressure) the lights/ clock still work though. so i check all the fuses and they are all good. so i thought it was the alternator. so i pull it off and get it tested at oriellys they tell me its bad so i get a new one. take it home install it and im still not getting a charge. so i test my battery its like 11. then i test to make sure i have power from the batery to the alternator and i do. so i take it off (altie)and get it tested it was good. so i was like and asked them to test my old one and it tested good. just to make sure ....i tested it at autozone too and it passed. so i decide to go up to walmart with a friend and he throws a seen about a 3 year old battery and gets my 70% off. so now its all good except my gauge cluster and reverse lights arent working. i have checked all the fuses so im thinking short? any help would be appreciated im stumped nico help me out

for the gauge cluster, its either the white box at the drivers side footrest or the control module under the center console (both are prone to breaking eventually).

is there voltage going to them?

Check the harness under the front fender liners, they have a tendency to wear the wires down and some messed up stuff starts happening.

Check to see if the tire rubbed though the body harness or stripped some wires under the front fenders above the front tires.

also check the engine harness near the injectors or anything like near the engine and look for smoke! my buddies car was doing the same thing and was blowing fuses left and right. the problem was the plug that goes to the dist and the injector wires i hope that helps id check your engine harness. GOOD LUCK MAN!

It's your ecu ground. The point on the engine where it is ground is right above the exhaust manifold. I'll be right back with a picture

I know what happens because mine snapped off at one point. I moved it one bolt over.

There you go.
