today I decided to change all interior lights and licence plates lights with LED's, so when i got to the trunk i noticed that my tail lights aren't on but my head lights were switched on. after that i went to just put my car into reverse my back up camera turned on but just for a quick second and then turned off and so did my gauge cluster and center counsel after that nothing but black. first checked all fuses and relays and just replaced the running daylight fuse and still no luck. now the car wont go when i press on the gas pedal?? (its my first time posting on a forum Js)

Welcome to NICO. Sorry for you to meet us this way.
That's a head scratch-er. When I first changed my old 07 over to LEDs, I apparently shorted something while changing the dome lights. The fix was on the driver's side foot well - I blew the three fuses in the center of the of the bottom row.
Are you saying that the car won't start? or the entire car is dead? or it starts, but only drives slowly at low revs?
Also, what do you mean by "running daylight fuse"? 06 Ms did not have DRLs unless you're in Canada.
The more specific you can be with your situation, the easier it will be for members to make suggestions.

Well the car starts but when I put it in reverse the car dies or it just about to die and when i give it little gas nothing happens, the pedal is to the wall. Could you tell me what fuses they are exactly? -and as for the running daylight fuse i thought It was called that, it was a fuse that's inside the engine fuse compartment it didn't have it before and on the diagram looked like i needed it.

are you saying you installed a new fuse in place that didn't have it originally?

The first thing is to remove that "running daylight" fuse. If there was no fuse there before, it's probably for an option not on installed on your car. You might be completing a circuit that should not be active. As for the engine, fuses are probably not the cause. Did you perhaps do anything to the throttle body or MAF - did you unplug or clean them?
The three fuses I had to replace were on the box in the driver's foot well. Open the box, look at the bottom row. There are three 10amp fuses in the center of that bottom row. Those are the three I blew when changing my dome lights. Those fuses control the seats, dash lights, interior lights, steering wheel adjustment, etc. They do not have anything to do with engine performance.
You may want to re-trace your steps from the beginning. Make sure you didn't accidentally unplug or make changes to anything in the engine compartment. If you're upgrading to LEDs, there is no reason to even look at the engine compartment. Also, check your battery cables. These cars do all sort of tricks when the cable are even slightly loose.

Update so after replacing all the fuse still no luck. so took it to the dealer ship and they told me my battery had a dead cell and lucky i have factory warranty since the battery was only 2 months old but after they replaced the battery they told me i had to replace the gauge because it supplied a ground so the car can charge the battery and it was going to cost me $1200 to fix so i decided to do it my self and i did but after all said and done the tail lights started to work and the GPS screen as well but not the cluster so i called the dealer ship and they just told me that you have to reprogram it. so what i want to know does it need a special tool or can i go to a local tuner to do it?

Forgive my lack of knowledge about this site... (I'm new here (long time on this planet))... but I am enjoying this site immensely... Your questions are pretty intense (good thing).

I'm sure after some serious hunting I'll find your area of interest: "OBD2" or "OBDII".
The "programming" the "DEALER" guys are talking about is through the diagnostic PORT.

What ever you decide ... you will need to do MORE THAN READ...!!

"INVENTORY" would be a better word than "programming"... but when something gets changed on these new cars... the car doesn't know. DEALERS have proprietary software... most likely UNAVAILABLE to us little folks...

When the manufacturers FINALLY figure out the MASSIVE labor (shop) costs associated they
will ultimately graduate to (the technology of the "90s) PLUG-n-PLAY.

BEFORE purchasing anything "OBD2"... check for SMARTPHONE based BLUETOOTH items.
They are THE most likely not to get locked at a particular REVISION LEVEL...

Check AMAZON & eBay... The cost is NOT a measure of function or quality!!!

Sadly... I have no interest with a '73 240Z... but hope this helps start your quest.

Happy hunting & good luck.
