Hello,i have a very low mileage and pampered 1990 300zx it has developed a bad habit of smelling of gasoline on the inside. there is no pattern other than it is more likely to happen when first started for the day. 2-3 psi has been applied to the system and a complete visual inspection of all flexible hoses has not revealed any possibility. several qualified people have not been able to identify the cause of this smell. i am thinking that possibly the fuel injection is running very rich when cold. does anyone have experience with this problem?

thanks,jhd

lemme do you a favor and move this over to the Nissan tech section, you're likely to get a much better response here

if you don't get an answer here, we'll try 300ZX next.

There may be external leaks at one or more fuel injectors.
