my car just started leaking a lot more oil than usual and the idle is around 1200+ i think it might be my oil pan gasket going out b/c that's where i see the oil stuck to more....anyway is this an easy enough install to do yourself?? if so any vital instructions on replacing a oil pan gasket on a 96 240sx??

doesnt have a gasket it is sealed with silicone sealer. It is more likely the front crankseal behind the main pulley. Your idle concern may or may not be related as the pcv valve haveing a problem could cause excessive pressure in the crank case and cause oil to push through seals. Fix the oil leak and put in a new pcv valve and recheck it see if the idle problem still exists.
