I am trying to find out who has the best gas in my area for the long term survivability of my injectors. If I have to drive a bit and spend a few cents more per gallon I figure that it's worth it. But so far I have not come up with what I am looking for. I did find this interesting article for those of you with a chemically inclined mind. Except for a brief period in my youth, I have tried to keep my mind and chemicals separate. Some would opine that they believe otherwise. HNY to the Qheads.

If anyone knows of a decent web-based fuel rating sytem or article could you please post? I am currently burning quite a bit of Shell. On the rare occasions when I am forced into buying lesser fuel I know it almost instantly. It will miss occasionally while waiting at a stop light. As soon as I refuel it goes away. And if possible I'd rather send my cash to Hugo Chavez than to the middle east....so that may factor into it as well.

Based on some things in article it was obviously written more than 2 years ago when MTBE and TAME were still in use.

The best UNBIASED web articles are from Australian Government where they were considering E10 and even E20
