gas tank replacement

My 95 p finder is leaking gas has anyone replaced a tank. How long , any tricks

Pull up the carpet in the cargo area and open the access hatch to the top of the tank and see if it's leaking from there first. The tank bolts are probably rusty and they are NOT easy to remove without heat, a BFH and a 4-foot breaker bar.
