Gas Tank Question

I have 2 Js on My 1995 when I remove the gas cap the tank is some what pressurized. On the 97 no air pressure at all

Which one is correct? and the one that is not correct where do I begin to troubleshoot.

Mine has pressure.Switch gas caps to eliminate the cap as the culprit.

Mine only does it sometimes...

Not sure why that is?

I will try that as to the level we only fill up when the tanks are about 1/4-1/8 full.

They test gas caps here in Texas on the State inspection.Do they not there ?

Don't concern yourself. I've not seen any consistent behavior in cap venting since they've gone to sealed systems. Everything enters into it- temperature of the gasoline, how long the engine's been run and how much the gas has been heated by it, what formulation you're running depending on time of year, the formulation's vapor pressure, outside temperature, barometric pressure, and who knows what all else.

There are no Inspections in Florida
