Gas tank only fills to 3/4 full

Hello, my 08 350Z Nismo will sometimes only take 3/4 of a tank of gas before itoverflows. I'm thinking a plugged vent hose or similar problem. Has anyone elseexperienced this problem or know how to fix it. Thanks, Bob (gunrunner5)

It could also be a sticky float on the fuel pump. In any case, the dealer should fix under warranty.

Their was a recall in the earlier models, but mine 03 got fixed. Surely they would have fixed the same issue after 5 years. For the life of me I cannot think exactly what its called, but do have the documentation on what was fixed. The best thing I can tell you to do is when you fill up, only put the nozzle in just enough into the hole and not all the way in. That worked every time for me. Good luck!
