from what i've heard (NOT personal experience) there are two straps holding it on from underneath and thats the main support. Don't just take my word for it, search for it too

Its like a 1.8/5 stars to replace. We had to remove the fenderling on passanger side to get to a few bolts. But yes there are two big straps holding it also in place. Be sure to have the least amount of gas possible. (You will thank yourself for this)

If you have too much gas you can siphon it out by removing the fuel canister located to the right in the back of your hatch/coupe. Even with 1/4 tank it will be heavy just a fair warning. Have a floor jack ready before you completely undo those straps.

if the car is stock ride height you can get it out with one jack, but I recommend two people and two jacks.

1. Take out fuel pump fuse/relay whatever and disconnect the battery.
2. pop gas door and remove gascap
3. remove rear interior so you can get to the fuel pump.
4. disconnect that plug after you unscrew everything.
5. remove grommet from the filler neck.
6. Start looking for bolts to remove the tank and take them out. I'd undo the front left strap and the rear right strap bolts only, so the straps stay there. Watch out for all the plastic shielding.
7. lower tank and undo the fuel lines, remember which one goes where. take off the evap line. Lower tank and if you have to jack up car and remove tank.

Not really a write-up just What I remember from a few weeks ago.

Just don't smoke when you do it. Be very aware fuel catches fire,be safe, no sparks.
