s13 sr swap, there has been a disconnected hardline sitting by the driver side of the radiator fan for some time now. It goes to the firewall, go across to the passenger side, go down under the car and back to the gas tank...

I looked at it for awhile and unplugged it. z0mg! and I yanked the hardline out.

drives fine. is it alright? no long term damage?

Im sure it went to the charcoal canister and I wouldnt block it off though cause it might be a main source of venting for the gas tank.

A build up of gas pressure can actually be dangerous but hey its your vehical. I just left it open because it amost impossible to blow dust into the tank. Even if it did thats what the filter is for.
