I say negative to the sea foam, not a good idea.

Car is stuck? or stock? Maybe a MAF sensor, or time for a tune up....

I just tallyed up my MPG... 11miles to the friggin gallon...

i use seafoam on my stock ka24de before i went ka-t and i felt a difference in performance.

it ran alot smoother and pull stronger.

depends on how low i am on gas, but my 240 does the same thing when you open the gas tank, run seafoam, check maf. and then if that doesn't work i'm sure you'll have more suggestions on this thread by then.

Remember the KISS principal

KeepItSimpleStupid

This is not ment as an insult, Just a reminder to not overlook the small simple solutions to problems. I have heard/used this for years.

For your problem just start with a basic tune-up. Plugs wires etc. Also remember to check tire air pressure as that will have a big effect on MPG.

If that does not improve your MPG then you can start looking at other options.

(sniff, sniff) (my two sents)

I use a about a quarter of a tank to and from work wich is somewhere around 14 miles total... I changed the O2 sensor, cleaned the MAF, and my tires are up to 42 in the rear and 45 in front. Guess its time for some wires and cap... I dont smell it being pig rich, could the Cat converter be causing it?> I may just take those out and buy a new engine with the money from the insides of it!

Air filter is new, Ran Lucas through it, Plugs look fine, Compression is good. IDK
