question...
whenever i fill up my car to the top... i always get this very strong gas smell... i took it to the mechanic... and he couldnt find where it was leaking... but a few months ago, he replaced my fuel pump... could it be that there is too much pressure when i fill up my car ?... the smell lasts about full tank to about 3/4... it usually comes out of the passenger side, at first i thought it was leaking from the fuel filter, but i changed that a while ago and that wasnt it... can anyone help me ?... makes me dizzy sometimes... -_-

Might sound weird but I had the same problem, now when you changed the fuel filter did you tighten the clamps? Tighten the clamps and it might solve the problem. My story was when i changed the fuel filter i was tooooo lazy to tighten the clamps...then i noticed **** what is that smell next to me all the time smells like fuel...Finally decided to close the clamps no more smell. SOUNDS Odd for that to be the problem but worth a try

When I installed my fuel pump I had this problem. The gasket on the gas tank hole thingy (don't know the proper term) wasn't sealed correctly and when I went arond corners it would splash around and out the misaligned gasket. fix that, if that doesn't work, buy some RTV sealant and go to town on that biatch
