Gas Runs

Anyone having trouble in their city with people doing gas runs? Know back in Florida there is one guy that does it 3 times a day. I'm up here in Arkansas now..the farm country.So pretty much everything around here is diesel. In the past week over 3000gallons of diesel have been stolen from farmers. Last night the theives pulled up to a crop duster's strip and stole 750gallons of his fuel. This is getting crazy over fuel prices. One guy kept stealing gas at night from his tank. They switched the tank to diesel and the guy filled up and his truck broke down abotu 50yds away.At least that guy got busted. Cops are all over this place looking for these guys. They have stolen it from 4 counties so far. Guess it's the DIESEL MOB. Anyone having trouble in their town with people stealing this bad?

People in my town steal cars and cycles. I wonder if they go the honest route at the pump. Unusual irony if they did. Ah the duplicity of man

Past 2 days here it has gone back up was at 1.62 back up to 1.77 Change pretty much every day. Only thing I know is that those guys better be very slick now. I know of 5 people waiting for them. Figure they'll probably hit again wednesday or thursday. been about their time period. Going to be waiting for them if they come around any of my fields. The only lead on what kind of vehicle is that it MAY be a bread bunny truck or ups truck. It's white p[aint and faded. One was spotted the other night and it was using turn signals on a dirt road. then turned off it's lights and gunned it to the highway.

its 1.88 - 1.89$ a gallon here and thats for the low grade stuff, its over 2.00$ a gallon for higher octaine gas... all the gas stations around here make you pre-pay after 6pm because of gas and runs, when my buddy was broke and out of work he would go around and syphen the gas out of cars that are parked on the road, but noting big just like 5 gallons from each car.. i never did that crap tho, not worth getting caught.. but yeaah i dont think im gonna put a turbo motor in my car now because i couldnt afford the gas (i drive more then 400miles a day!! thats alot of gas every week )

Being in a communication center, we take just slightly more gas larcenys from gas stations as we did. Not even that noticable.

Not had any larcenys from other vehicles that I know of. Just steal the whole car, but make sure it's tank is full. Nah dont do that......

if you think about it guys 91 octane at current prices isn't bad to fill up. a what? 5 dollors difference? give me a break if you can aford to save up for a turbo you can aford the gas.

When i turbo my 240 its not getting any higher then 91

That's what we are trying to figure out. Because it has been 400 gallons and 750 and 600. So it has to be a fuel truck with a 2way pump where it can pump out and suck in. A truck pulling a diesel wagon. Or a truck that can support that much weight. One farmer spotted a truck liek a UPS or Bread Bunny Truck. Accoriding to Terry that's what they used to use to fuel up. Had a tank welded to the frame. So it can support it's weight and one was spotted the other night. If i wasn't so tire I'd go out right now and look for them but they're cops patrolling around lookign for them too. Probably goign to go searching tomorrow night. Only thing I know is that those boys better hope the cops catch them before the farmers. Especially the ones they stole from. Everyoen around here drives around with a gun in their truck. Cops don't care. Hell got pulled over today for no tag, had no proof of insurance(just bought about a week ago),had no license, and had a gun in the back seat clear as day. Cop lets us go. Surprised because it was local PD out in the country. Think he was inside his jurisdiction. Everyone around here is pissed about it and looking. Don't figure there will be any more problems. Got two suspects..ones that stole the power unit..they dumped it but they were seen and identified. threw a $6,000 piece of equipment into a river. Well need some sleep got more work in the morning
