Buying gas on post saves me money as opposed to buying it on the German economy but it's still pretty costly. And I was just curious how much gas is running back home. Please post how much gas is running in your hometown. Here's how it's looking today here in Germany.

Germany

Unleaded $4.273

Mid grade$4.395

Premium $4.512

Fortunately I live only about a mile from a gas station that has a grade differential of only 5 cents. So I get premium for only 10 cents more than regular unleaded.

I'll have to look today. I know the prices dropped, because we now have crappy California gasoline. 10% ethenol. Sure, emissions are a little lower, but I lost 10% of my mileage, and feels like 10% of my HP.

I still have a couple of ration coupons from when I was in the US Army in Germany. Back in 65 gasoline was rationed and you were only allowed 10 gallons a month in the PX.I can still remember drinking beer in the barracks singing "Can't get no Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones.

Well, things haven't changed that much, we are still rationed and they are JUST now getting rid of the coupons for a new Debit Card like system. Which means I need to hurry up and finish up all my coupons.

Looking at these prices I'm starting to wish I was paying what you guys are. Oh well, like I said, as long I stay buying the gas on post I'll be alright.
