But seriously, it's averaging around 3.29 for regular here in Augusta. Unfortunately, a mad rush to the pumps yesterday resulted in a lot of stations having none. Luckily, I filled up at 3AM the day all this craziness started (good ol' graveyard shifts).

Listen to this...I go to a Chevron to grab a drink and I notice the gas is 2.79. I come back later after I grab some cash and that bish was 2.89! I left for like 30 mins. and they raised it. The chasier said it was going to get worse. I've been keeping my tank brim full for a week just in case.

I was at the pump today. $3.12 for Shell V power (91). Doesn't seem as bad as some of you guys. Looks like Cali isn't the only place with high gas prices anymore.

It seems that in the hype of the hurricane people have forgotten predictions made over a month ago. Gas was said to hit upwards of $3 for the Labor Day Holiday, which just so happens to be a major traveling holiday. Now they are using the Hurricane as an excuse. And how convenient that an announcement comes out that the US plans on releasing some of its oil reserve so we could see a drop in gas prices as "early" as... you guessed it, right after the Labor Day Holiday... greedy *******. I am glad that I filled up on monday at 2.59 and my car is in the body shop for the next week or two... horay for carpooling.
