The only shocker in the list was Baku. Azerbaijan has plenty of gas resources. There was talk about developing a pipeline from wells on the Caspian Sea to the Mediterranean.

Turns out that the Caspain region is very difficult to deal with because of the type of oil, bad bad politics and proximaty to deep water. The oil is highly corrosive. The political scene is ridiculous. The Caspian Sea is too shallow for ocean going tankers.

Makes Iraq look all that more appealing, eh? At least there, only the politics are f**ked up.

You think I'm kidding? Cheney certainly had that intel from his secret "energy forum" meetings.

Give it a rest. I am tired of listening to everyone rant and rave. BTW I wasnt kidding.

What is sad is the fact that while looking up information about Reunion and Europa Island. All the sources copy information and maps from the CIA World Factbook. I have one question about Bassas da India and I get all the same information from website to website.
