my gas pedal is frequently 'stuck' in the (dunno how to describe - prone? upright? the position it's in when your foot is not on it)

it'll stick, and i have to press too hard to get it to go down. once it's down, or slightly down, its fine. and its not stuck all the time, but def frequently. its real frustrating. caused me to burn the clutch a couple times. trying to adjust for it, i stalled yesterday.

the cables and pretty much everything related has been lubed and the butterfly's been adjusted. what else could be causing it to be stuck?

have you tried taking out your floormats? it happens, also how is the linkage for you cruise? my brother recently had a cruisecontroll cable come off and wedge itself in a way that help the car at like 3000 rpm's

also nothing hanging under the cable cover? and nothing near the betterflies on the outsides?

Might also want to look up under the dash there..follow the pedal up to where the contact points are..there are small green "pads" it might be getting stuck or have fallen apart. That could also be the problem.
