s13rb25detstock s13 throttle cablestock rb25det intake manifoldrb25det custom throttle cable bracket

Problem:Cannot put the pedal any further then 3/4-1" Its like at a stopping point, but if i apply ALOT of pressure i can get it down to the floor, the first time i did this while driving and im still slapping myself for that

Once that point is reached pedal will move smoothly but only when not running, a restart of engine or anything the pedal with be "stuck" again where i can only press about 1inch

Any help?

*Throttle cable has full movement from all the way closed with pedal up and all the way open when pedal to the floor*Idle is fine, it returns all the way closed with foot off the pedal*No matter how many time i "reset" the pedal by forceing it past the point, as soon as i start up again and go for it it gets "stuck" again*Lube was applied to the throttle cable pulley and gas pedal to see if that would help.... no dice*Also pumped the pedal with car off to make sure everything was moving good ... no dice*The throttle cable is not kinked and tried a few different postitions to see if it would help

This is probably really easy but my searches are not working that great, thank you in advance

Just spent a couple hours playing with the cable and stuff

When the pulley/cam is pulled it works perfect

I got one good run when it was working right for like a 1/2mile and then shut off the engine and restarted and it was stuck again

Some more troubleshooting:When it was stuck instead of pressing down really hard on the gas pedal i decided to pull on throttle cable (while off) i moved the pulley about 1/8 of a inch and magicallly it would go down all the way

Someone has got to know.... please

it was so stupid but spent the last few days trouble shooting, too freaking busy takeing off the throttle body, adjusting the cable, and checking the pedal to actually just take a momment to notice it was hitting the hood... argghhh

it was great though... first time i got to take it out and get on it a little, i stayed closed to home incase something happened but im excited now

it hits the webbing in the hood so im just gonna cut out a slit and hopefully that works
