I have 3 questions. I finally have the time and money to start on my car. It is a 1995 Nissan 240sx SE with the stock ka engine.

1. I can not seem to find instructions on how to adjust either the gas pedal or brake pedal so that I may "heel and toe" while driving. Does anyone know how to and can explain it or give me a link so that I may find the answer?

2. What is the part that when installed causes the steering wheel to return faster for quicker change of angle while drifting?

3. This isnt a tech question but hey why not ask. Does anyone know of a junkyard around the VA area where I may find some 240 parts? I am trying to source a right rear quarter and a new dash for my car. The normal junkyards that I visit do not have any.

Thanks in advance!

You will not find a right rear quarter, since 240sx are unibody. The only way to replace that is to cut and reweld.

Well let me rephrase that then. A place where I can find the same model car that I can get the piece I need to cut and weld it. I knew I was going to have to do that. Sorry I phrased the question incorrectly.

Just keep scouring junkyards, or try and find a someone selling a shell locally in the classifieds.

Why do you need to adjust the pedals? AFAIK they don't adjust in any way that would make it easier to do, but I heel-toe just fine on my stock pedals...

Heel toe is very easy in an S13 , I successfully did it my first attempt ..and it was in my s13.

The way that helped me was to change the way you approach braking in general.

When i apply the brakes with my right foot, my foot is already angled slightly sideways you know? So all i have to do is brake with the tip of my foot...and then press my heel into the gas pedal when i clutch theres actually no need to do the JDM tyte pivot your foot BS. I know several good drivers who use the same method as me and it works fine.

And as far as returning the steering wheel faster....Caster is a Alignment setting that is responsible for wheel returnability...to adjust it you need to buy tension rods, and go to an alignment shop.

If you want to actually get a steeper steering angle you can buy custom tie rods or put spacers/washers on them.

Thanks guys. From what I understand there is a way to either adjust the gas pedal upwards on the brake pedal down to make them a little more even to make heel toeing easier. I can do it in the current form but I figured adjusting would just make it easier on my ankles. I have thought about adjusting the rods to get more steering angle but was looking more right now to get my steering wheel to return faster.

get adjustable Tension rods. This way you can adjust caster, the more caster the more returnability (to a point) Kamin , the drift section Admin says he runs 8 degrees of caster on his car.

im 6'1'' driving a 240hb. and i have really big feet. so its hard for me to do a heel toe. i started playing around with different ways i could think of and the best way i found out is to heel roll. when aplying the brakes roll the side of your foot over to the gas and bump. works just as good, just have to find your comfy spot.

Are you asking 300 for entire shell?
