Gas odor inside the car

Hi all, I have a versa hatchback 2007,recently it started to have an intense gas odor inside the car,I brought the car to the dealer and they did not find nothing. and the odor is still there. I have drive the car with someone else in the car and it is positif the odor is there. Even after that the dealer did not find the source of the odor. This issue is driving me crazy.

maybe without realizing it, you got it on your clothes, or possibly stepped in someone else's spill, tracking it in your car, go around and litterally sniff out where it is the strongest and weakest and try to pinpoint it.

Check, specifically, your right rear wheel well. This is near the point where the fuel filler neck goes down into the tank.

There have been a few cases of fuel filler necks incorrectly installed or broken from the factory, and it causes a fuel like smell.

There has also been one instance, that I know of, of a rear-end fire in a Versa. So I wouldn't take this lightly at all.
