Here is a very interesting look at the world of petroleum.

I didn't bother reading MUCH of the link after I realized it was about Iraq and the supposed intentions of the US invasion, so I'm sure that I missed how it relates to gas prices. But anyway, our prices have already started to go down. Nothing drastic yet, but a few cents per gallon in a matter of 2 days isn't too shabby!

Boy, talk about propaganda. :rolleyes Anyway, I thougt these political threads were to cease until further notice? Oh yeah.. my bad, this thread is about gas prices.:rolleyes

You miss the point, Maine. Keep reading past the first few paragraphs. There is a well researched insight into factors regarding various petroleum supplies and their dynamics. I found it very sobering. I hope you don't don't throw the baby out with the bathwater like this all the time. Read it all. You'll be glad you did. Trust me. There is some good objective info therein.

No, I actually read a good portion of it, and was unpleasantly surprised to find a well cited work. I still think it is LOADED with vicious spin cycle politics and guiltier of propaganda than any of what you have accused some of us of having for sources. It is 'interesting' but hardly conclusive and very 'slanted'. But, as I said previously.. we are not permitted to post threads about the Iraq situation.. and you have to admit thatyou have done precisely that.

So, let me get this straight: You din't read the article through because it was well researched?

How many b/d could be lost because of labour disputes? What is the concern about reserves in eastern Iraq? Are these concerns warranted? How about NG? What does an interuption of pumping activity do to a reserve? You knew this stuff already? I am impressed.

I guess I just love pure data from recognized sources. Draw your own conclusions. Like they say, "Figures don't lie".

I only wish there was more hard data like this available during the afternoons on AM radio when I'm driving my beautiful J30t here and there, buying fuel etc..

Did you klick on AZ's link? Now THAT was FUNNY and hardly unmentionable at all. But ,what ever we do, let's not mention the "you know what" to the moderators.

Isn't the "you know what" over already anyway?

So I guess it would be cool if I got an avatar of someone burning the American flag? Precedent?

There is a hockey team called the Americans and it's even spelled correctly as any hockey fan would know. No, that would be childish and disrespectful. Seriously, AZ, why would you do something as base as that avatar? A moderator no less.

I guess I don't see the problem with the Avatar...hmmm. This will end up talking about the Iraq situation whether intended or not.

Diversity and education are great things for all NICO members. But we don't need to take sides on a virtually undisputable topic. Everyone is entitled to there own opinion on things. But taking sides can result in the braking down of the union we all have here. So to prevent such things from happening, we have simply decided that political type threads should be left out of this website.

If its such a well researched article, how come several of the Iraqi cities were misspelled? I agree with maineimport, propaganda.

Apparently I must be the only one who saw the clips of the Montreal fans booing the national anthem prior to playing the NY Islanders. Most importantly, NY won.

Having been unable to locate a Montreal jersey at midnight last night, I substituted. So what I meant to say is SCREW MONTREAL.

I know, I'm a "bad mod." I'll take a time out. :D
