I moved to AZ for work over the summer here, and during my drive i noted my gas mileage.

28 MPG @ 72-76 MPH (only drove like this for about 30 miles before i got really bored)24.2 MPG @ 80-90

Seems like better gas mileage is def. better with mods, if you aren't having fun.

Since I'm in AZ, lets go to the track JEFF

Since wind resistance is a cube root factor, the engine is designed to optimize mpg from 50-60 mph.

We will all see this when the 2009 Congress brings back the 55-60 MPH limit with $5 gallon fuel {$150 oil}.

I don't know what good it would do to lower the limit, when they don't seem to be enforcing the one we have anyway. Driving 5 over is slow around here. 10 to 15 over is average, depending on traffic. They would do better to start enforcing the limit we have and save the cost of new signs.

Excellent! I beleive I had posted at some earlier time, my MPG with the mods in my car. Your numbers look exactly like mine. I completely agree with the data you presented, as I have achieved the same numbers as well.

I guess the G-35 is plenty capable in gas mileage. Good job! Another good reason for anyone to consider moding out ther car.
