gas mileage

Just wondering what kind of gas mileage everyone gets?

I get about 450Km on a tank on my 1990 with 5 speed.

highway driving about 380 miles to the tank on my s14.city driving 275 or so.

mine must reallyt suck then, I get 200 miles per 12 galons, which is like 17mpg...it's me drivign to school and back allt he time, with warmign the car up at least 2-3 minutes now cuz its winter...but still 17mpg!! thats like mustang MPG...grrr...I hope its not cuz my muffler fell off...

16.5 mpg. thats about 200 miles on 12.5 gallons of permium. I reset the tripmeter everytime i fill up, then the next time i fill up i know exactly how many miles I have driven and can figure out mpg. Anyway i still have a rough idle problem and my milage sucks, not sure why (new injectors 30k ago, new plugs, o2, cap, rotor, clean aiv, iaa, throttle body etc.)

DAMN MY 89 MUST REALLY SUCK.. ITS ALL STOCK CEPT THE CUSTOM 2.25" exhaust wit a magnaflow muff and ghetto box and im only getting 200miles for a full tank of super unleaded gas... what do i need to get gas mileage up? i wanna have a 300mile per fill up too!!!

Umm, well the s13 and s14 have different size tanks so keep that in mind when you read/post. By tank i mean from full, to reading empty on the gauge, but even so this leaves about 2 more gallons in the tank for "emergencys." The sohc will probably never get 300 mi to the "tank."

Yeah, I'm with HaveBlue. I am LUCKY to get 16 in my 90 5-speed. There are no mods except some exhaust thing that was there when I bought it. It's louder than hell is all I know. Could the SeaFoam treatment possibly help with this?? I can't figure how a 4 cyl. could only get 16 a shot.

My Mileage varies from as low as 18 mpg up to about 26mpg.I have it running well now and get consistant 25 mpg averaging75 to 80mph on the Interstate. I have about 190,000 miles on my 1991 s13 with the 5 speed.No modifications.Bob Fagan

this summer my max. was 36 mpg, driving like grandma, and my last tank was my lowest (all donuts and stuff) at 20mpg. 91 coupe 5 spd K&N w/ smashed airbox and dropped ac compressor

Sil80 we have about the same i put like 3/4 tank the other day and got 131 ml out of it i have a 89 se and it takes forever to warmp up in the morning too.. what the hell? also anyone have any idea where i can get an alternator cheap besides salvage??-edgar

On my 1995 I used to get 25-26 consistently and about 28 on long trips. Once drove from Austin to Lubbock and got like 420 miles on my tank with atleast a gallon left over. That felt good

Now I have a 1989. I've only had it for 15.5 hrs now so I have no idea what kind of fuel economy I get. Does anyone know how big the tank is?
