gas mileage

i have an 01 pathfinder.what should i expect for gas mileage? i find it worse if i use the cruise control on the highway.i have got as high as 22 mpg but on the average i only get about 15 .i am going to change the plugs,they have about 137 k on them,i was wondering id double platinum are better then platinums.napa says there is no real difference.$20.a plug for doubl platinum is an awful price for plugs.

I've been averaging just a hair under 20 mpg. Mostly freeway driving. My Pathy is a '98 2wd 5spd with 31" off road tires.

wow. . I'd KILL for that sort of mileage. I get 15 on the hwy, and 12-14 in town.

I drive at least 80% in town. I am a Realtor so I track mileage.

I seem to be averaging 14.1 MPG. I got as high as 15.9 when I was working with some buyers in a nearby town about 15miles away, so I was doing a 50% highway. My wife and I took a short road trip into the mountains and saw 18 MPG. I haven't had a chance to log some good freeway miles.

Keep in mind that I have a 3.3L. Fueleconomy.gov says I should get 13/17. For a 2001 4WD they give 14/17.

14-16, i drive about 75% freeway and 25% in town and mines 4wd.

they came with NGK from the factory, i alotta ppl on here have stressed to put it in exactly what you pull out..i agree. if in doubt, pull it out(and get the number off the ceramic part)
