Gas Mileage Help.

Well about 2 months ago i was getting around 350 miles on every tank of gas i used, and i would refill at about 1/16 of a tank left. Shifting 2500rpm-3000rpm.

But one mornign i turned on my ****ty Venom 400 ignition chip....it makes my throttle response nice...but makes my car run way rich.

So i just use it to go fast driving like 3 miles down to the gym where i work out at. So i turn it off...and the car starts bogging down anywhere around 2500 rpm. It is normal when the chip is on, but if it's off it shouldn't do that. I knew the chip was off because there is a LED that lights up when it's on.

Anyway. I drive for a day and it keeps up....now my exhaust is just black as ****...so i decide to just take the whole ****ing chip out. Finds out the chip was stuck between on/off position. So for the last month i have been getting like 230 miles on each tank, instead of like 350.

CLiff Notes : Used to get 350 miles per tank, racing chip made me run real rich, took it out, now still getting 230 miles per tank.

Any suggestion? What should i get that would probably fix that? Plugs, o2sensor???

when you have the chip on and it does run rich you might have fouled the o2 sensor out in the process

i get at best 400KM to the tank

I get about 380 when down to about 1/16. Usually takes about 13 gallons to fill it back up. I just removed the stock fan and am now running electric. Looks like my gas mileage is even better now
