This and also make sure all your plug wires are tight.tollboothwilley wrote:vacuum leak can cause MPG to drop...you aren't having any idle issues are you?

if you cant do the reset instructions you can hard reset by pulling the negative wire off the battery and then hitting the brakes a couple times... you might lose radio/comfort settings...biggie wrote:In the sticky thread for FAQs/etc.joeyswagG35 wrote:How Do I reset the ecu

Had you filled up immediately after the 310 mile trip you probably would have seen the 25 mpg?wildpig wrote:Update:
Just went 412 miles on 17.8 gal of 87 grade gas... Worked out to 23.1 mpg. Not bad considering that I was driving a 310 miles highway trip during which my cruising speed was most of the time 80-90 mph (with a one time excursion to 130 mph). After this trip, the rest of the miles before refuel was in mixed 40/60% highway driving 10 mile trips. I do however never accelerate hard and brake very lightly.
I was actually trying to drain the tank as much as I could before refueling but given that i've only driven my new G for only a little over a wk, I didn't know what the lower limit is once the fuel gauge needle actually is at the bottom of the Empty mark. Guess now I know as I still have a little over 2 gal left even.
Will see how far this new tank of gas can go...... Maybe i will see telcoman's 25 mpg fuel eco....
True but who wants to live there.wildpig wrote:one thing about GA, gas is definitely cheaper there....

Parker's is as good as NC barbecue gets, if you like the traditional non-smoky style. And the cole slaw is great, too. It's over on 301, you have a drive a few miles off 95 to get there, but it's worth the trip. Take it from a Virginian UNC alum who stops there every time he passes through.telcoman wrote:

No, but will make a note of them. That used to be one of my routes to Chapel Hill, if I was hitchhiking. If driving, taking 86 out of Danville was shorter, but light traffic made hitching iffy. It was the early 70's, not as many ax murdering perverts on the highways then, in case you're wondering about the hitchhiking.SVTCOBRA wrote:Ever get by Stamey's or Kepley's toward G'boro and HP ?? Do you recall the exit number?Mudgen wrote:Parker's is as good as NC barbecue gets, if you like the traditional non-smoky style. And the cole slaw is great, too.
