gas leak??

ok i just purchased a 91 240 with sr swap.when i fill the tank up its leaks really bad. previous owner said he took off some kind of filter that the gas goes into if you overfill.it smells like gas horribly. it also seems like there is a hole or something because when i hit bumps or turn it smells bad.please help

the previous owner says he took the over flow on the filler neck off?is this correct, if so how do i go about putting new one on to stop problem??please help

go to a junk yard and get one. so basically your fuel system doesn't know if its overflown.

i guess..?but i called nissan dealership and they said the hose is called a ventalation hose. i really dont have enough tools and or experience working on cars to drop the gas tank.. any help on how i could put new ventalation hose in???
