Just noticed last night that I have a gas leak under the Pathfinder. Its dripping from one of the three lines up in front the the rear differential. I am assuming I can just cut the line after the fuel pressure is released and insert a piece of rubber hosing and some clamps, or should I take this to a shop?

Melt it back together with a lighter.

Nah. . personally, I'd take it to a shop -- but I'm sort of a wimp.

Hmmmm? A lighter! I didn't even think of that. Thanks.

I'm kind of leaning the same way about taking it to a shop. I hate messing with gas.

A true Baja fix would be duct tape..... it would probably last the life of the car....
