Then how do you know its leaking from the gas tank if its not visible? Try checking fuel lines etc.

I had a rust hole higher up on my S13s tank. Couldnt be seen without dropping the tank. Cheap to fix, fill with water, weld.

i did check that and replaced that today but i'm still leaking i'm pretty sure it's my fuel lines because the car doesn't leak when it's turned off so it's gotta be the lines so i'm gonna drop the tank and replace em all, has anybody ever had this problem?

You don't HAVE to DROP the tank. They're just rubber lines...99cents/ft at Autozone..I replaced mines as well last week...Bought 10 ft of it just to make sure I have more than enough. I feel much more relief replacing a 13 yr old fuel line..

doesn't it kill your hands if you don't drop the tank?
