ok I searched but cannot find anything about this...

If I leave my gas cap on the... well the place it goes... and have it tightened down like normal after I fill up, gas starts leaking out of the charcoal canister and pouring onto the ground below while the car is sitting out in the sun and geting warm. It also leaks if the engine is running and it is sunny outside. The car doesn't have to be full to the brim, but I would say it does it all the time if it is filled to over half. The only way you can make it stop pouring out is if you unscrew the gas cap, at which point a very large amount of pressure is released from the gas tank (kinda sounds like a blowoff valve when the cap is unscrewed) I figure it is some kind of line or something, but I have no clue where to start on this one. Any Ideas?

Hmmm.....I wonder if your gas cap has somehow sealed up it's pressure release valve thingy (whatever you call it). Basically, presurrizing the tank too much, which may be causing the system to purge, and while it's purging, it purges raw fuel rather than just the fumes, because the pressure is so high?

It's a wild guess, but you may want to think about it. I don' t know. Maybe try a different gas cap.

What year is your car? Is it OBDII? If so, you should have a check engine light.
