I went to a gas station that isn't self serve and the lady accidentally put 87 in my car. I got 12 dollars worth. I drove the car home and it drove alright but it was bogging down a bit. What should I do? I have a few options. I could 1. Drain the gas and fill it back up with 932. Put in some octane booster3. Petro express sells 100 octane gas I could equal it out.4. Fill it up with 93. (Its at a quarter tank.)

Me.... I'm always nervous as s*** when it comes to my cars... I'd drain it, but it honestly would most likely not hurt anything if you just filled it up with 93...

Full service gas in Charlotte? Odd. Where is this? Fill it up to half with 100 octane. (100+87) / 2 = 93.5

Put the 100 octane in there. It's actually more than 87 octane right now because you still had some of the old gas in there that was a higher octane so it will probably be alright.

Honestly and truthfully, just go drive the car. The 87 octane doesn't hurt it that much because you already have higher octane fuel in your tank to blend with the 87 octane. And if you're not running 15+psi of sustained boost, it is really of no major concern. The weather is pretty cool in North Clack this time of year, so heat causing detonation is at minimal at best.

Just drive it as Dee said. I might consider unhooking the wastegate actuator arm from the flapper in the housing and pulling 3-5* of timing out with the CAS. Just don't boost hard and listen for popcorn.

Just drive the damn thing light footed and fill it with 93 octane once its low, you will have 0 issues.

Ha! ks13 has 1234 posts. Awesome.

Oh, and just go drive it. My dad did the same thing to my car once.
