I'm talking lots of gas. gas coming out of my throttle body, and all the intake mani. runners full........ugh.. am i looking at a complete tear down of the motor? and clean it and oil it
Did you reuse the o-rings? If you did, there's your problem. They tend to dry out as soon as they are pulled out. And this makes it much more susceptible to tears wen you reinstall them.
As far as clearing out the gas, once you get the fuel issue fixed, pull the spark plugs and disconnect each of the injector harness plugs. Crank the motor with the gas pedal all the way open. You may want to line your engine bay with some rags to keep gasoline from splattering all over the place. A lot of it will come through the spark plug holes. Some will go out your exhaust. Make sure you remove the spak plugs. Too much fuel in the cylinders will cause hydralock. At the starter's cranking speeds, it shouldn't cause any damage, but gas will try to squeeze by the spark plug. Don't ask me how I know this. Hopefully it will suck out all the gas that is in the intake. Short of this, you may have to get a vacuum pump and stick the hose down each runner to manually suck the fuel out.
Good luck.
