on a 4th gen maxima, when you take the keys out, does the gas gauge stay at the level of gas or go down to 0?

Mine stays at the level of the gas. And if I park my car in the sun, sometimes the gauge goes up

whew. for a while, i thought i had gotten the gas gauge stuck.
