gas gauge light L.E.D. not working but needle does???

How or what do i need to do about my L.E.D. low gas light now working. The needle works fine but i will run completely outta gas if i wait for the light to come on. I just want the light to operate correctly. What do i need to do or replace to make it work? any help is appreciated.

just a thought, is the l.e.d. on the gauge broken? try putting another one there?

I don't know about everyone else but on my 95 s14 the needle had to go way below the red marker for the light to go on. It was scary to try but it eventually came on.
