GAS GAUGE AGAIN, DIfferent though.....

My gas gauge is broken, i Had a half a tank, but the needle fell all the way down.

Is there a likely cause, lose wire, quick fix or anything for this? Can I do it myself? anyone ever have the same problem?

I've never seen this happen before. Weird... but it works now? The needle could've gotten stuck, very unlikely but possible.

It was all the way down, so it didn't get stuck cause i had a half a tank, i think i just knocked something loose cause it's fine now.

you should still get it checked...for all you know whatever may be loose is still that way and will do it again
